Thanks to several Lodges in the area, there is now a traveling gavel to promote visitation among the Lodges, There is a new rule, The Gavel is to be for Districts 3, 4, and 5 also that the gavel can be captured again in 30 days, But Only on a stated communications With no degrees being conferred and it is hoped more lodges would participate in this visitation and fun program.

Get a group of Brothers together and go capture the Gavel and enjoy a good night of fellowship & fun and help increase attendance at our meetings.

The Traveling Gavel is now Located at Jonesboro Lodge #129 Jonesboro,   Arkansas They meet on the 1st and 3rd  Thursday of each month at 7:00PM.  If you capture the Gavel,  please contact email admin@arkansasmasons.com or phone us at the numbers below.

(Garry's Tool of Instruction). The requirements for claiming the gavel are there must be 3 officers present, one being a principle officer (appointed or elected), 3 additional members, and you must notify the Lodge Where located. stating your intention to try to claim the gavel and how many you plan to bring (to help us prepare the meal). Whoever has the most takes the gavel with ties decided by distance traveled. Gavel is at Lindsey Lodge #292 at Atkins, Arkansas Contact them if you desire to visit.
